Woman Gerard Pique Cheated On Shakira With Identified (Photos)

Barcelona star Gerard Pique and his partner of more than 11 years Shakira announced this weekend that they had broken up.

The revelation came on the heels of several days-worth of rumors regarding the pair splitting.

“We regret to confirm that we are separating,” the wrote in a joint statement on social media Saturday.

“For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we request respect for (our) privacy. Thank you for your understanding.”

Several days ago, Spanish news outlet El Periodico reported that Pique was living away from Shakira and their two sons, Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7.

After that, SideAction offered some other interesting tidbits about Pique’s purported infidelity and who precisely he was cheating on Shakira with.

“Lorena Vazquez and Laura Fa, who are two journalists at El Periodico, have affirmed that Pique was meeting with a young blonde girl aged 20, who is a student and an event hostess in Barcelona,” the story read.

Yikes.

“The report claims that Pique was seen with this woman several times and that Shakira found out about this.”

Pique and Shakira took some very lovey-dovey photos together very recently, so this most recent update is quite the shock:

That said, cheating is nothing new to the sports and entertainment worlds.

David Beckham has been linked to some pretty tawdry stuff.

Ditto for Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

It comes with the territory.

Will Pique and Shakira ultimately find a way to get back together?

Time will tell.
