Fox Releases Super Bowl 54 Ratings Numbers
Fox released the Super Bowl 54 ratings numbers on Monday.
Turns out, the big game was quite popular.
This year’s Super Bowl marked the first time in eight years that an established quarterback star like Tom Brady or Peyton Manning did not participate.
Many speculated that this might lead to a ratings decline of some sort.
It did not.
Super Bowl LIV on FOX averaged a 41.6 HH rating and 99.9M viewers, up 1% on both vs. CBS last year.

According to insider Gil Brandt, Super Bowl LIV averaged a 41.6 HH rating and 99.9 million average viewers.
Both of those figures were upticks from 2019.
According to Fox Sports, the big game featured 102 million viewers altogether.
That makes it the 10th most watched Super Bowl ever.
Brandt also reported that the Pepsi Halftime show had 103.2 million viewers tune in.
Seeing as the two quarterbacks who headlined the big event had less than 70 starts between them, the ratings numbers are extremely impressive.
If this really is the beginning of the Patrick Mahomes Era as many believe it might be, that bodes extremely well for the NFL’s ratings for the next few weeks.
