ESPN Reaction To Ole Miss Hiring Lane Kiffin Goes Viral
ESPN’s reaction to Ole Miss hiring Lane Kiffin has gone viral.
On Friday news emerged that Ole Miss would be hiring Kiffin to be the team’s next head coach.
The current FAU coach was sought out by multiple programs with vacancies, including Arkansas, but apparently settled on the Rebels.
Kiffin previously served as the head coach at Tennessee and a coordinator under Nick Saban at Alabama, so he is well aware of the challenges and pitfalls he may face in the SEC.
The official announcement of Kiffin’s hiring may come as early as this coming Sunday.
On Saturday, ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit reacted to the Kiffin news in a way that immediately went viral.
“Thank you to the college football gods,” Herbstreit joked.
“The way he stirs things (up), he can’t help himself.”

With the sheer number of talented head coaches already in the SEC, it will be interesting to see how Kiffin’s approach stacks up this time around.
