Ashley Brewer is one of the more prominent young sports broadcasters in media today.

She started out as a personality for KABC-TV in Los Angeles but was immediately dubbed as someone with star potential.

Surely enough, ESPN came calling shortly thereafter. These days Brewer hosts the 10:00 pm edition of SportsCenter.

With her professional in a great place, Brewer seems to be thriving on a personal level as well.

This week, photos emerged of her getting engaged to NBA big man Frank Kaminsky.

Brewer and Kaminsky had been very quiet about their relationship up to this point, so this was a surprise to many.

Kaminsky is a former Wisconsin hoops standout who carried the Badgers to back-to-back Final Four showings. He was then taken with the No. 9 overall pick by the Charlotte Hornets with whom he spent four years.

From there Kaminsky spent three seasons with the Phoenix Suns, before joining the Atlanta Hawks this summer.

Although Kaminsky never became the NBA player some imagined he might be when he was named the National College Basketball Player of the Year in 2015, he has certainly been a serviceable role player in the league.

Brewer and Kaminsky aren’t the only ESPN personalities whose relationship just became public. Fans were similarly stunned to learn who Malika Andrews was dating.

And let’s not forget the Stephen A. Smith dating rumors that continue to circulate.

Big picture, Brewer’s career seems to be on the ascent. She will likely to continue to get more notable and prominent gigs from here on out.

As for Kaminsky, he likely still has a little more time left in the pros before retiring. And regardless of what his next chapter looks like, he has earned more than $20 million over the course of his career on the court alone.

What does the future hold for this happy couple?

Time will tell.
