Erin Andrews Names 1 Team She Wants Aaron Rodgers On

Erin Andrews is one of the most knowledge football minds in all of sports. Between that and her extreme familiarity with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, she recently decided to weigh in on the conversation of where the star should go from here.

Rodgers’ future with the Packers is currently very much in a state of flux. Certain signs point to him remaining with the franchise, while others suggest he may have intentions of going elsewhere.

Recently, Andrews offered her two cents on where she would like to see Rodgers end up.

Understandably, her comments immediately went viral.

“Green Bay,” she said in an interview. “I don’t want him to leave the NFC and I don’t want him to leave Green Bay. It’s good business for FOX.”

Andrews didn’t stop there, though.

“They have been very close and I’ve been there for basically all of their losses like in the NFC championship a few years ago,” she continued. “You hate it for them. I really thought we were going to see them in the NFC championship.”

This week ESPN NFL insider Jeff Darlington appeared on SportsCenter and revealed that he still believes Rodgers will stay in Green Bay.

“Based on all of my conversations over the last several weeks, whether it’s close to the Packers organization or people close to Rodgers, this still feel like the momentum is decisively leaning toward Aaron Rodgers returning to Green Bay,” he said.

“This goes back to the day that they hired Tom Clements as the quarterbacks coach. That was the big one here. That was the first shoe to drop, essentially saying the Packers are going to do the things that Aaron Rodgers wants to happen.

“Everybody I’ve talked to says the conversations since the end of the season have been positive and optimistic. If they get Davante Adams done, I believe there will be reassurances that Randall Cobb will be done. And of course the contract, which the Packers also are willing to adjust to make Rodgers happy. As long as this thing doesn’t go sideways, this still feels to me that Aaron Rodgers will return to the Packers.”

This isn’t the first time in recent months Rodgers and Andrews have been linked in the news. The pair sparked a lot of controversy not long ago over a now-viral photo.

Beyond that, Andrews has been in the headlines nonstop as of late. Between her salary becoming a popular topic of conversation amidst Troy Aikman’s new deal and her reaction to Tom Brady’s retirement – it has been one thing after another.

When Rodgers finally decides where he wants to end up, it will be interesting to see how Andrews ultimately ends up feeling about it.
