Eagles Star Emotional After Seahawks Game

An Eagles star was emotional after the Seahawks game.

Injuries were the theme of the day when Philly and Seattle clashed on Sunday. Both squads came into the day with a lot of missing bodies, and things only got worse after kickoff.

Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz was knocked out of the game early with a head injury, forcing backup Josh McCown into the outing.

McCown clearly was not expecting to play much against Seattle, but he still put up a valiant effort. He genuinely kept his side in it until the very end.

Ultimately, McCown just could not get it done late and the Eagles ended up falling to the Seahawks 17-9.

McCown finished the game with 174 yards on 18 of 24 passing.

Afterward, McCown was overcome with emotion.

Since his NFL debut in 2002, McCown has played for a total of nine different organizations.

Sunday was the first time in his 18-year career that he played in a postseason match-up.
