The Miami Heat defeated the New Orleans Pelicans 106-95 on Friday night.
In addition to four players getting ejected from the outing for various scuffles, the other unfortunate thing to come out of this particular game was an ugly sequence involving Duncan Robinson.
The play largely speaks for itself:

As do the subsequent reactions from NBA fans:

How does this look in real time? Not saying it wasn’t deliberate but slow motion often skews our perceptions of events.

This is why none of his teammates had his back when Jaylen pulled his arm.

This is kind of dirty and clearly intentional, wondering if he’s a dirty player who’s now being discovered.

In a busy NBA week that has already seen Anthony Edwards make a surprising GOAT pick and Jordan Poole throw a tantrum over getting benched, this incident will likely be forgotten.
That said, it will be interesting to see if the league opts to intervene.

The video of what Robinson did didn’t leave much to interpretation.
Will Robinson ultimately get suspended when everything is said and done? Time will tell.
