Draymond Green, Jordan Poole Clash During Warriors Game (Video)

Draymond Green and Jordan Poole very clearly don’t like each other.

The latter getting punched by the former during the offseason is obviously the clearest indicator of the rift between the two men, but the way they have spoken about each other since has been equally telling.

That said, both have seemingly resolved to put their differences aside in hopes of helping the Golden State Warriors repeat as champs.

Unfortunately, this week, the pair’s animosity towards one another reared its ugly head again during a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Essentially, Green appeared to get angry with Poole for not passing him the ball. He then quit on the play, resulting in a turnover when Klay Thompson ultimately did decide to throw him a pass.

Ugly stuff.

If it feels like Green has been very petulant as of late, it’s because he has been. It very much seems like has accepted the fact that he is leaving the organization soon and already has his sights set on his next team.

The Warriors’ decision to offer Poole a massive, long-term extension this summer and not do the same for Green was telling.

They view one of those guys as an essential part of the franchise going forward and don’t feel the same about the other.

Maybe that is why Green is so testy nowadays.

Will Green be able to put his emotions and clear dislike of Pool aside for the greater good of the Warriors this year? Time will tell.
