Dolphins, Falcons, Lions Interested In Colin Kaepernick

The Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions are interested in Colin Kaepernick, it appears.

Late Tuesday afternoon it was announced that the NFL had scheduled a special workout for Kaepernick and that all teams were invited.

The timing of the announcement and its overall tone was a bit surprising, seeing as Kaepernick and the NFL had been at odds ever since his kneeling protest began.

Kaepernick has been out of the league since 2016 and despite a bevy of quarterback injuries earlier this season seemed to get zero interest from anyone.

Now, all of a sudden, there is a mad dash to get him an opportunity.

It is odd.

Nevertheless, multiple teams have expressed interest in attending his workout on Saturday.

Among them: Miami, Atlanta and Detroit, according to TMZ.

Will any of those teams actually pick Kaepernick up?

It seems like a longshot.

But stranger things have happened in the NFL.
