LSU Does Not Want To Play Alabama Again

LSU does not want to play Alabama again, that much is clear.

This past Saturday, the Tigers beat down Nick Saban and Co. in a much more dominant fashion than the 46-41 final score would have you believe.

In the aftermath, LSU immediately became the consensus No. 1 team in the nation and Alabama fell out of the top four on the college football playoff list.

Given how good the Tigers looked this past weekend, one would imagine they would be really confident about where they stand versus Alabama.

Not so.

On Wednesday, former LSU star Ryan Clark went on ESPN’s Get Up and made it clear that he does not want his alma mater facing the Crimson Tide again.

“Every time you put them in there, when people don’t think they’re supposed to be there, they stinkin’ win it!

“I don’t want (LSU) to play them again. We did what we had to do. We went to Tuscaloosa and we won it. Let us live. Let us have our shine. Geaux Tigers.”

Will LSU have to play Alabama again this year? If Alabama ultimately wins out, then yeah – there’s a really good chance of that happening.
