Dennis Schroder Loses It On German Coach During FIBA Tournament (Video)

Dennis Schroder lost it on the German coach this week during a FIBA Tournament game against Slovenia.

Coming into this outing, many wondered if the German side would be able to put a lid on Luka Doncic. From a talent perspective he was the best player on either team.

Fortunately, Doncic wound up not giving Germany too much trouble in this one. Despite finishing with 23 points, six rebounds, six assists, and two steals – Germany blew Slovenia out by 29 points.

In fact, the main storyline coming out of this wasn’t even the game itself. It was a particularly heated moment between Schroder and the German coach.

Hoops fans always have a lot to say about everything.

In that respect, it isn’t particularly surprising that folks on social media immediately weighed in on this situation.

Big picture, this FIBA Tournament so far has seen storylines that have included Jordyn Woods’ provocative outfits to Karl-Anthony Towns’ games and the continued decline of Brandon Ingram as a basketball player.

In that respect, it’s unsurprising that Schroder and his coach getting into it caused something of a stir.

That said, clearly it didn’t hurt the team at all and it figures not to be an issue going forward.

How far will Germany ultimately get in this tournament when it’s all said and done? Time will tell.
