Danuel House Jr.’s Wife Whitney Reacts To Him Being Sent Home

Danuel House Jr. was exiled from the NBA Bubble this week after committing a particularly egregious violation.

According to a league investigation, the 27-year-old had a “guest in his hotel room over multiple hours on September 8 who was not authorized to be on campus.”

Earlier in the week, multiple reports suggested that House had invited a “female COVID-19 testing official” into his room.

On a professional level, this alleged act was a major lapse in judgement due to the danger it put other NBA Bubble participants in.

Secure protocols had been established to minimize the risk of players and team officials getting COVID-19.

Those procedures were specifically implemented with player safety in mind, and unauthorized entries into the NBA Bubble put everyone at risk.

On a personal level, this was also a less than ideal move. Shortly after news broke of House being sent home, his wife Whitney reacted.

Multiple reports also indicated that she removed House’s photos from her now-private account.

On the court, the Houston Rockets will miss House’s production. He averaged just under 12 points per outing in nine playoff games for the team and was one of their better defenders.

Houston is currently down 3-1 to the Los Angeles Lakers in their best-of-seven series, with Game 5 due to take place on Saturday.
