Danica Patrick was and continues to be the greatest female open-wheel racer of all time.

Because of her undeniable place in the sport’s lore, even in retirement she has continued to be a prominent presence at various events and broadcasts.

It was more of the same this week.

With the Indy 500 taking place on Sunday, Patrick was on hand to do some event coverage. Fans couldn’t get over her choice of outfit to the proceedings.

“Glowing,” one fan wrote.

“What a babe,” a second commenter agreed.

“Beautiful,” a third fan chimed in.

It goes without saying that this isn’t the first time in recent weeks Patrick has blown up online in this fashion. Between her provocative sauna photos, wild bathing suit video and crazy concert pictures, it has been one thing after another for her.

Plus, in addition all that there is also just Patrick’s standard social media output. That too never fails to impress.

Big picture, Patrick’s presence at the Indy 500 was a welcome sight for all.

She is a huge part of racing history and deserves to be respected for it.

At times she was underrated during her active driving days, but it’s nice to see that fans became more appreciative of her presence post-retirement.

What other sort of headlines will Patrick inevitably make after the Indy 500 wraps this weekend? Time will tell.
