Dan Snyder To Be Removed As Redskins Owner After Bombshell Report?
Dan Snyder and the Washington Redskins have been in the news over the past few weeks over controversy surrounding the team name.
This past week, the organization announced that it would be retiring the “Redskins” name that it had called its own since 1933.
Many assumed that would be the end of the drama and that everyone would subsequently move on.
No so.
Almost immediately after the name change was announced, reports began to leak that a big Washington Post story was coming. The story in question would be deeply negative, these reports said, and would reflect very badly on Washington’s football team.

On Wednesday, a post on Reddit began to go viral. The post indicated that scandal was brewing in Washington, and it was bad enough to the point where it could result in Snyder’s ouster.
Snyder has been essentially bulletproof as the owner of Washington’s football team. Poor play, name controversies – nothing has successfully brought him down.
That said, the decision to retire the “Redskins” name all of a sudden after years of feet-dragging on the matter was out of character.
Was it a sign of similarly unexpected things to come? A final answer should come at some point Thursday or Friday.
