Dan Patrick Wonders Why NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell Is Avoiding Him

Dan Patrick wondered why NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is avoiding him during a recent segment on his show.

While riffing on the NFL in general this week, Patrick — one of the most beloved sports talk radio hosts of all time — openly pondered why the NFL commissioner was seemingly dodging him.

The last time Goodell appeared on the show was in 2015 when Ross Tucker was guest-hosting.

Prior to that, Goodell also appeared in 2012 when Pro Fooball Talk’s Mike Florio was filling in for Patrick.

Given Patrick’s prominent role in general NFL analysis due to his time as NBC Sport’s lead anchor for Sunday Night Football, the limited interaction between him and Goodell is genuinely puzzling.
