Dallas Cowboys Lose Star For Rest Of Year

The Dallas Cowboys lost a star for the rest of the year on Sunday.

Rookie Luke Gifford suffered a fractured left arm during the first quarter of the team’s game against the LA Rams. As a result, he will now be forced to sit out the reminder of the 2019 season.

Gifford was playing on special teams when the injury occurred.

The Nebraska-product signed with Dallas back in April as an undrafted free agent.

Despite not getting picked up during the draft, Goodwin impressed Cowboys brass with his instincts and work ethic. He eventually made the team’s 53-man roster, despite suffering a high-ankle sprain before the season kicked off.

The Cowboys defeated LA 44-21 on Sunday, pushing their record to 7-7 on the season.

Next up for Dallas will be a showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles. The outing will be crucial in determining who will ultimately represent the NFC East in the playoffs.
