Cowboys Legend Has Some Words For Jerry Jones

A Cowboys legend has some words for Jerry Jones.

Former Dallas wide receiver Dez Bryant has not been on an NFL roster since 2017. Despite that, he has a lot to say about the league and the direction of the Cowboys.

Most recently, Bryant sent out a message to Jones offering up his services.

“Give me the role they gave witten.. no shot at witten ..let me play with zeke pollard Gallup cooper Cobb jarwin…… think about it.. in the mean time I’m working,” he tweeted out.

Witten came back to Dallas this past year after serving as an ESPN Monday Night Football broadcaster.

Bryant, meanwhile, was considered by the New Orleans Saints for a vacancy at wide receiver in 2018.

Unfortunately, he ended up tearing his Achilles before getting to see any action and has not received any interest from NFL teams since.

It is unlikely that Jones will end up finding a role for Bryant with the Cowboys, but there is no harm in asking. Stranger things have certainly happened in the NFL.
