Mississippi State, Mike Leach Steal Star From Alabama, Nick Saban

Mississippi State and Mike Leach stole a star from Alabama and Nick Saban this week.

Leach has only been in the SEC for about a minute and a half, but he is already creating headaches for the conference’s best team.

According to Paul Jones of 247Sports, Crimson Tide offensive lineman Scott Lashley is transferring to Mississippi State via the Transfer Portal.

Lashley will come in as a redshirt senior and will begin classes next week.

In 2016 as a high school star Lashley ranked as the eighth best talent from the state of Mississippi.

While his career with Alabama did not quite go as planned, Lashley is a huge get for Leach.

Over the course of eight games for Alabama in 2019, Lashley played a mere 58 snaps.
