Conor McGregor’s Mom’s Halloween Costume Sparks Controversy

Conor McGregor’s Mom’s Halloween Costume Sparks Controversy

UFC star Conor McGregor is no stranger to sparking controversy. Now his mom, Margaret, is getting in on the fun.

Halloween came and went this week, and the McGregors decided to celebrate like only they can.

The controversy erupted on Tuesday when Conor took to Instagram to share some photos from the weekend that was.

Clearly the UFC champ didn’t suspect that anyone would take issue with them:

Twitter was not happy. The reactions to Margaret’s choice of attire came very quickly and without all that many people coming to her defense:

In the aftermath, a spokesman for the McGregor family told The Daily Mirror that “Mrs. McGregor had spiders painted on her face since her costume was a ghoul risen from the grave.”

Make of that what you will.

Obviously this isn’t the first time in recent months that Conor or a member of his family has found themselves in the headlines.

Between him posting a video of himself in the midst of an intimate act from his boat, his insane recent body transformation and now this – it has been one thing after another one for Conor.

Meanwhile, he is still 1-4 in his last four fights and has not recorded a meaningful win against anyone other than a washed up Donald Cerrone since 2016.

Will Conor ever actually go back to making headlines for being a capable fighter? Or is this all that will come from him and his family going forward?

An answer one way or the other will emerge soon enough.
