Conor McGregor’s fight versus Khabib Nurmagomedov was marred by many things. He was arrested in the lead-up to the bout, and then participated in a bizarre brawl in the aftermath. In a way, both of those things shielded him from criticism for the way he behaved during the fight.
On several occasions throughout the match against Nurmagomedov McGregor quite clearly cheated.
This past week, a fan called him out for it.
McGregor responded precisely in the way most would expect him to.
So that’s why McGregor cheated in the way he did against Nurmagomedov. He believed it’d bring the retired UFC Lightweight champ sexual stimulation. That settles that.
McGregor is an extremely successful person. The amount he took home from his sale of Proper 12 speaks for itself. That said – he has a certain brash and aggressive style that can get frustrating and old.

Between his million dollar sex watches and the adoration he receives worldwide, you’d expect McGregor to be a little more content and humble. When he shows that side of himself, fans respond positively to it. When he doesn’t, they react much in the same way they did when he suffered his recent embarrassing loss to Dustin Poirier.
Will McGregor ever be able to move past his rivalry with Nurmagomedov? It doesn’t look like it.
