Wyoming Fans’ Encounter Goes Viral During BYU Loss

BYU came into War Memorial Stadium in Laramie, Wyoming, this weekend and did exactly what they needed to do.

There were no surprises the way there were during the TCU game.

The Cougars were undefeated through two games heading into Saturday, whereas Jay Sawvel and Co. were winless. Both squads continued on those trajectories.

Thanks to three touchdowns and nearly 300 passing yards from quarterback Jake Retzlaff, BYU walked away with a 34-14 victory.

During the game, eagle-eyed fans at home couldn’t help but notice a strange encounter between Wyoming fans in the stands:

Reactions flowed in quickly:

Fun times notwithstanding, this is shaping up to be a long year for the Cowboys.

They have at least two more losses on the books over the next few weeks.

Will Wyoming ever be able to regain some semblance of respectability as a football program? Time will tell.
