The winner of Hawaii vs BYU is obvious, says one expert.
Christmas Eve kicks off on Tuesday with a college football showdown that promises to be exciting.
For the first time since 1992’s Aloha Bowl, BYU will travel to Hawaii to play in the Hawaii Bowl on ESPN.
The Cougars and Hawaii are former WAC rivals and have played one another in each of the past two seasons.
BYU won 30-20 in 2017 and 49-23 in 2018.
Hawaii will attempt to snap a five-game losing streak against the Cougars later tonight.
Recently, Associated Press college football writer Ralph Russo took a look at this game and offered his prognostication.
Russo believes that it will be a close one, with BYU ultimately prevailing 24-21.
“Why watch?” he wrote.
“When you’re putting together that bicycle you got your kid for Christmas, the Hawaii Bowl can distract you from worrying about all those ‘extra’ parts.”
Will Hawaii be able to shock the world and emerge victorious? The game kicks off at 8 p.m. eastern time on ESPN.
