Viral Miami Hurricanes Football Fan Finally Identified

The Miami Hurricanes have had a very solid season under head coach Mario Cristobal.

With a 10-2 mark, many believe they deserve a shot in the College Football Playoff – though they may end up getting snubbed when everything is said and done.

This week, a diehard Miami Hurricanes fan began going viral. Nobody could figure out who she was, but everyone enjoyed her spunk.

Finally, on Wednesday, her identity was confirmed:

The Hurricanes’ incredible fanbase notwithstanding, if this squad does end up missing the College Football Playoff, Paul Finebaum knows exactly what the cause will end up being.

“I think it’s the way that Miami game [against Syracuse] ended,” Finebaum said to host Mike Greenberg. “You know, Alabama was beating Auburn, a pedestrian team that’s been going nowhere, while Mario Cristobal’s team was literally throwing up all over the field up in Syracuse. They had a 21-to-nothing lead.

“Cristobal decided not to go for a first down on fourth and 10 (with 3:42 left in the fourth quarter). He kicked a meaningless field goal. He never got the ball back and ultimately, I think that’s where it ended for the Hurricanes.”

Whether Miami makes the College Football Playoff or not, they can take solace in having the sport’s best fans.
