Oregon and Utah are going to lose, says ESPN.
Every week the computers at the worldwide leader in sports predict which highly ranked college football teams are most likely to get upset by lower-ranked teams.
Last week, the Big 12 took a fairly significant hit when Oklahoma fell to Kansas State and Texas dropped one to TCU.
This week, ESPN’s computers are once again predicting that a single conference will suffer the brunt of Saturday’s upsets: the Pac-12.
Seeing as the Pac-12 has been cannibalizing itself all season long this is not particularly surprising, but it is interesting nevertheless.
According to ESPN, No. 7 ranked Oregon has a 36.3 percent chance of losing to USC when they travel to Southern California.
Along the same lines, the computers indicate that No. 9 ranked Utah has a 52.9 percent chance of losing to Washington.
Will these predictions ultimately to fruition?
We’ll find out soon enough.
