Nebraska and Scott Frost somehow lost another star to transfer this week.
On Tuesday, kicker Dylan Jorgensen announced he was entering the NCAA Transfer Portal.
“First off I want to start by thanking Coach Frost for giving me an opportunity to play football at The University of Nebraska,” he wrote on social media.
“I would also like to thank my friends and family for supporting me throughout this process.
“At this time I’ve entered the transfer portal; I’m excited to see what other opportunities there are out there for me. This is just the beginning.”

Jorgensen is coming into his sophomore campaign this year.
Last season, he played in two outings and connected on all five extra points attempted.
His lone field goal attempt of the year, against South Alabama, was blocked.
Now Frost will be tasked with replacing Jorgensen’s production.
Barrett Pickering is returning in 2020, so that takes some of the pressure off.
He missed most of last season with a hip injury, but ultimately finished second on the Huskers with 19 points from the kicking position.
He ultimately went three-of-five on field goal and ten-of-ten on extra points.
Nebraska has lost a lot of talent to the transfer portal over the past year, and chances are Jorgensen will not be the last person to depart.
