LSU Is Hiring Bo Pelini
LSU is hiring Bo Pelini as the program’s new defensive coordinator.
The former Nebraska head football coach is reportedly on the verge of signing a deal to become a member of Ed Orgeron’s staff.
Pelini’s contract will reportedly be a multi-year deal that pays him roughly $2 million annually.
The former Huskers coach spent the last five seasons as the head coach of Youngstown State in the FCS.
Over the course of those five years he has amassed a record of 33-28 and finished as the runner-up for the 2016 FCS Championship.

Pelini’s multi-year deal will pay him around $2M a year. He served as DC under Les Miles from 2005-07.

Before that, Pelini served as Nebraska’s head coach from 2008 to 2014. During that time he put together a record of 67-27 with four division championships.
Pelini previously worked as a defensive coordinator under head coach Les Miles from 2005 to 2007.
LSU’s defensive coordinator position opened up when Dave Aranda left to become head coach of Baylor.
