Georgia has 1 way of beating LSU, says ESPN.
Coming into this weekend one of the most highly-anticipated outings on the college football schedule is LSU vs Georgia.
There is a lot on the line for the Bulldogs in this one. If they beat LSU, arguably the best team in the nation, they will earn a berth in the College Football Playoff. If they lose, that spot goes to Utah, Oklahoma or Baylor.
The problem for Georgia is that coming into this thing nobody is giving them much of a shot. LSU has been the favorite from start to finish.
Well, according to ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit, there is one clear path to success for Georgia.
“Any time you have a quarterback who’s been into battle as many times as Jake Fromm has, you always have a chance,” Herbstreit said Monday on his podcast.
“LSU and Joe Burrow’s offense against that defense from Georgia? Man, that is must-see TV right there. I can’t wait to watch that. That’s going to be awesome.
“You’ve got a great defense. And you’ve got Jake Fromm. And you’ve got D’Andre Swift even though he’s banged up. He’s more than capable.”
Will Georgia be able to pull off the upset? We’ll find out Saturday.
