Connor Stalions New Job Offer After Michigan Exit Raises Eyebrows
Connor Stalions resigned from his post as a Michigan football analyst this week amid a flurry of allegations and sordid claims.
As things presently stand, Stalions is being accused of being at the head of an illicit spying campaign that benefited the Wolverines in beating their college football opposition.
Although it hasn’t been officially confirmed who snitched on Michigan’s alleged clandestine spy operation, there are some theories floating around.
Stalions’ central role in everything has made him a lightning rod for criticism. Because of that, he opted to step down from his position with Michigan.
“I love the University of Michigan and its football program,” Stalions told The Athletic afterward.
“And I am extremely grateful for the opportunity I’ve had to work with the incredible student athletes, coach [Jim] Harbaugh and the other coaches that have been a part of the Michigan football family during my tenure.
“I do not want to be a distraction from what I hope to be a championship run for the team, and I will continue to cheer them on.”
Time will tell what sort of consequences await both Stalions and the Wolverines, but at the moment it doesn’t seem like anything too significant is happening.
In fact, Stalions already has another job offer. Noted Michigan Man and Barstool Sports boss, Dave Portnoy, presented him with one just this week.

Although Portnoy is a known joker, he has made it a habit to hire talent that nobody would else dream of hiring.
And then once they are on the payroll, he tends to keep them on their for a long time.

If anyone wouldn’t be scared of the blowback from hiring Stalions, it is definitely Portnoy.
Will Stalions ultimately take Barstool Sports up on Portnoy’s offer? Time will tell.
