LSU Legend Has Message Ahead Of Clemson Game
An LSU legend has a message ahead of the Clemson game.
This Monday night LSU and Clemson will square off in the National Championship Game.
LSU will come into this one fresh off a brutal beatdown of Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl.
The team’s quarterback Joe Burrow had himself a day, throwing for 493 yards and finishing with eight total touchdowns.
Now LSU will hope to use that momentum to dethrone the defending champions.
Recently, former LSU cornerback Donte Jackson appeared on Paul Finebaum’s podcast to discuss the looming showdown.
The LSU star expressed a lot of faith in his guys and then sent out a special message that he hoped they would take to heart.
“Just remember what you’re playing for,” Jackson said.
“I can’t just sit here and say what they should do but they should remember what they’re playing for. Come out with a chip on your shoulder because that team (Clemson) is going to be ready.”
Jackson then expressed confidence that his boys would get the job done.
“I can’t wait to see my guys take the championship,” Jackson said. “We are going to get it done.”
Will Burrow and LSU be able to put the cherry atop a season to remember and win the National Title? We’ll find out once and for all this coming Monday.
