Lenee recently addressed public speculation about their relationship through a video shared online.
She spoke candidly about the early stages of their connection, revealing details about Hunter’s past behavior and her initial hesitation to respond to his messages.
One of the things that she mentioned in her 8-minute video was that Hunter actually cheated on a former partner at one point, causing her to doubt him and the potential future they may have together.
“I don’t do home-wrecking. I am not a side piece. I don’t stand for any of those things,” Lenee said.
“I support women, so I would never do that to another woman because I don’t want it done to me. … When I said he wasn’t my type, I meant because he was younger than me — I had never dated nobody younger than me — and he had cheated on his girlfriend. I don’t know if your type is cheaters, but mine isn’t.
“So, no, he wasn’t my type at first off of those two things. But that didn’t discredit the fact that I was attracted to him. That’s obviously why I gave him a chance, and then I learned he truly is a phenomenal and wonderful human being and that’s why we’re still together to this day.”

During a recent session on Twitch, Hunter also came to her defense.
“You ain’t never had no girl so why are y’all talking about me? Find someone else to talk about… Go talk about your girl,” he said.
“Go find a girl. Go find a life. Stop worrying about what I got going on. I know what I got. My girl been with me for five years. Y’all are just now starting to talk about me… y’all go do something else with y’all life.”
The Heisman winner didn’t stop there, though.
“Y’all hate on me then you go hate on my girl I feel the same thing that she feels. We’re inseparable. We’re with each other. If she’s hurting I’m hurting [and vice versa]… she’s still sleeping. She’s lump,” he added. “You know when you’re hurt you just cry yourself to sleep and you be gone. She’s drunk OD amount tonight for no reason.”
Hunter then closed things out with a pretty definitive statement: “I don’t want her to go to sleep sad. It’s hard on me because I can’t even help her.”
