Notre Dame Cheerleaders’ Wild Photos Go Viral Before NC State Game

A group of Notre Dame cheerleaders saw their wild photos go viral before the team’s game against NC State on Saturday.
Heading into Week 1, many were curious to see what sort of Fighting Irish squad would show up against Navy. The one from last year that was ripe for an upset any time they faced a half-decent team? Or the one that has been hyped up all summer as a legitimate force?
Ultimately, a 42-3 blowout win in Ireland temporarily answered that question. A 56-3 blowout in Week 2 against Tennessee State reinforced that Marcus Freeman and Co. aren’t messing around this year.
One of the byproducts of how good the team has looked so far is that all aspects of Notre Dame’s program have gotten more buzz – including the dance squad.
Two cheerleaders, in particular, saw their wild photos go viral before the NC State game.

In a week where a Duke cheerleader’s private photos leaking out already caused a stir, it’s telling that a pair of Notre Dame cheerleaders could come along and steal the headlines in this particular fashion.
Cheerleading aside – Marcus Freeman and Co. have looked strong over the first two games of the year.
But now comes a far more legit test.
Virginia transfer Brennan Armstrong is one of the more up-and-down quarterbacks in college football, but if he gets hot, he could lead NC State to an impressive showing against the Fighting Irish. At the very least, he has the capacity to keep things competitive.
What a day for Deion Sanders and Colorado already. https://t.co/sBWAYxNElt

Sam Hartman should still be the superior quarterback, but he is going up against a defense that was sneaky good in 2022. Working in his favor, however, is that the Wolfpack lost five of their top six tacklers from last year.
One way or another, Saturday’s outing will tell fans a lot about where the Fighting Irish stand in 2023.
Will this group give Notre Dame cheerleaders something to get hyped for this weekend? Time will tell.
