Big Alabama Star Returning For 2020 Season
A big Alabama star is returning for the 2020 season.
The Crimson Tide faced a major blow to their offense this offseason as running back Najee Harris contemplated going pro.
This past year Harris recorded 1,224 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns.
With Tua Tagovailoa declaring for the NFL Draft, there is already a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding Alabama’s offense heading into next year.
Harris’ departure would have only contributed to that.
Fortunately for Nick Saban, his young running back is not going anywhere.
Lots of speculation on RB Najee Harris. I’m told Najee has informed the coaching staff that he is returning for a senior season at #Alabama #RollTide

According to CBS 42 insider Chris Breece, Alabama’s coaching staff has been told that Harris does not plan to declare for the looming 2020 Draft.
The return of Harris, wide receiver DeVonta Smith and left tackle Alex Leatherwood will smoothen the transition from Tagovailoa to whoever the next starting quarterback will be (presumably Mac Jones).
With Harris back in the, Alabama will likely once again be in title contention come next season.
