Alabama Coach Nick Saban Gets New Job With ESPN
Alabama coach Nick Saban got a new job with ESPN this week.
In anticipation of next week’s National Championship Game, the worldwide leader has recruited arguably college football’s best head coach to provide analysis.
Saban is not participating in the title game as an active coach for the first time since 2014, but he will still be there providing analysis for ESPN.
“ESPN’s studio programming will hit its apex on Championship Monday, as the network offers seven hours of pregame coverage and all day programming from New Orleans leading into the sport’s finale,” a statement from ESPN read.
“Throughout the day, the network will be the home to all the latest news around the game and both participating teams throughout the day, as well as some of the sport’s biggest names headlined by Alabama’s Nick Saban.
“The six-time national champion head coach will have a prominent roll on ESPN pregame shows leading into kickoff and also appear on the network’s halftime coverage.”
While the Crimson Tide head coach would likely prefer to be participating on Monday in a different capacity, his presence should still be a treat for college football fans.
