The Bayou Classic came and went this past weekend with Southern University defeating Grambling State University 34-17.
There was some notable fanfare heading into the outing because it is Hue Jackson’s first year as the Tigers’ head coach, but ultimately neither he nor his program did much of note.
As a result of that, room opened up for a fun side plot to steal the show on Saturday. And that is precisely what ended up happening.
It all started when eagle-eyed fans at home noticed a man in the stands doing something odd:
Immediately, questions arose about what specifically the guy was doing.
An answer emerged on social media shortly thereafter:
They thought dude was rolling up at the Bayou Classic, he was warming up a rib 😂😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/clTWXvFPVj

And just like that, a college football legend was born.
Reactions to what the fan did began to pour in immediately:

This has been a crazy year in college football. Between Spencer Rattler’s girlfriend’s provocative photos blowing up, a Texas fan taking her clothes off after a frustrating loss and a model’s wild antics at an LSU game – it has been one thing after another.
In that respect, nothing should be surprising at outings anymore.

That said, this was still pretty funny.
What crazy fan shenanigans will ultimately go viral over the next few weeks?
Time will tell.
