Coach O, LSU Lose Another Big Star To Transfer

Coach O and LSU lost another big star to transfer this week.

Fresh off winning the National Championship Game this past month, the Tigers seem to be losing talent left and right.

Coaches, players – everyone seems to be leaving for either the NFL or other collegiate opportunities.

And you can now add offensive lineman Donavaughn Campbell to the list.

Campbell has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, it was revealed on Thursday by Matt Zenitz of AL.com.

“LSU backup offensive lineman Donavaughn Campbell has entered the transfer portal. Former four-star recruit,” Zenitz tweeted out.

As a graduate transfer, Campbell will be eligible to play right away regardless of where he opts to go.

Campbell, a high school star, was ranked as the sixth best offensive guard to come out of the 2016 class.

Standing at six-foot-four and 347 pounds, he possesses all the physical attributes necessary for success.

Campbell has played both right and left guard, so he is versatile.

Alabama, Texas, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech and Georgia are also expected to have some interest in Campbell.

A final decision on where he will go should come at some point in the next few weeks.
