Clippers Pay Special Tribute To Kobe Bryant

The Clippers paid special tribute to Kobe Bryant on Thursday night.

In their first outing since Bryant’s tragic death this past Sunday morning, the Clippers left his jersey uncovered for their game against the Sacramento Kings.

Typically the Clippers cover all retired Lakers jerseys for their home games, but they obviously made an exception this time around.

At the same time, the Clippers opted to leave the rest of the Lakers jerseys covered.

The Lakers and Clippers were originally supposed to play this past Tuesday, but the game was ultimately cancelled to give all involved enough time to grieve Bryant’s death.

The Lakers’ next home game will come on Friday when they square off against the Portland Trail Blazers.
