Chiefs vs 49ers Winner Very Clear, Says Patriots Star

The Chiefs vs 49ers winner is very clear, says one Patriots star.

Heading into Super Bowl LIV, one thing almost everyone can agree on is how close the outing will likely be.

After all, it pits two of the league’s most balanced teams on offense and defense against one another to determine who will reign supreme.

Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore has a unique take on the big game, though.

He does not anticipate that it will be as close as some people may believe.

As someone who has played against Kansas City for two consecutive years now, he thinks Patrick Mahomes and Co. will have the edge over the Niners.

Speaking to ESPN NFL insider Dianna Russini at the Pro Bowl, Gilmore suggested that the Chiefs will ultimately emerge from the championship game victorious.

“I think Kansas City wins,” he said.

“I just feel like they have a lot of weapons. Mahomes is the—he’s tough to go against.

“I played against him a lot of times, and he’s the toughest guy I’ve played against since I’ve been playing – besides Tom, but he’s great.”

The big question in this outing will be whether San Francisco’s tenacious defense can make Mahomes uncomfortable. The Niners are extremely physical defensively and it could give the Chiefs offensive line a lot of unexpected issues.

Will the Niners ultimately be able to shock Gilmore and the rest of the Chiefs-picking world at Super LIV?

We’ll get our answer once and for all come February 2.
