A lot of the end result will likely come down to how Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes plays.
If Mahomes ends up having the sort of offensive supernova performance that he frequently has, then it will be tough for San Francisco to do anything about that.
If the Niners defense can make him uncomfortable, though, then they have a good chance of pulling off the upset.
