Travis Kelce’s cute three-word nickname for Taylor Swift further endeared him to her fan base this past week.
At this point, the hottest story in all of sports is Kelce’s ongoing relationship with Swift.
The pair has been together pretty much nonstop for a while now. This culminated in her attending multiple Kansas City Chiefs games – much to the chagrin of some.
This week, Kelce revealed his cute nickname for Swift amid word that she planned to be in attendance for his Thursday Night Football showdown against the Denver Broncos.
According to The Messenger, Kelce refers to Swift as his “good luck charm.” That is why, even though all parties involved agree that the attention on their union has grown excessive, he still wants her at Chiefs games.
If it feels like a certain pattern has started to emerge regarding which outings Swift attends and which ones she skips, it is because there definitely is one.
When Swift missed last week’s showdown against the Minnesota Vikings, the excuse presented was that the pair was just trying to keep things a bit more private going forward.
“When Taylor and Travis first connected, Taylor was looking to have fun while enjoying some downtime,” a source told Entertainment Tonight.
“So far, it’s been a nice change of pace for her. Now, as things progress between Taylor and Travis, they’re both looking to keep it more private. They’re both excited about where things are headed.”
So what has changed in the last week? Well, it’s not too hard to figure out.
The games which Swift has opted to attend came against the Chicago Bears, New York Jets and Thursday’s match-up against the Broncos.

Which outings did Swift choose to to skip? Ones against the Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars and Vikings.
Clearly Swift is opting for the games that Kansas City will likely win, and passing on the toss-ups against decent teams. She obviously doesn’t want to be there for a loss and subsequently earn the ‘jinx’ label that once followed Jessica Simpson around.
That said, the NFL is an unpredictable beast. Even a terrible team like the Broncos can surprise you. Will Swift continue to be Kelce’s lucky charm this week against Denver? Time will tell.
