Chiefs Star Bashes 49ers Star Ahead Of Super Bowl

A Chiefs star bashed a 49ers star ahead of the Super Bowl on Tuesday.

Defensive end Frank Clark is not one to bite his tongue.

Heading into the AFC Championship Game, he suggested that Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry was getting overhyped.

Many thought that Henry would ultimately make Clark eat his words. He did not. In fact, the opposite happened.

Clark backed up his big talk with authority.

This week, while doing Super Bowl-related media, Clark was asked about the man Kansas City originally brought him in to replace: Dee Ford.

Ford was traded from the Chiefs to the San Francisco 49ers last offseason.

The 28-year-old is best known for jumping offside on what could have been a game-clinching pick last season.

“I don’t know nothing about him,” Clark.

“I couldn’t name a stat. I don’t know the school he went to.

“I just know he had lined up offside and anybody who lined up offside at a time like that I feel like that’s a dumb penalty at the end of the day.

“I’m sure he feels the same way. Personally I’ve lined up offside before but not in that type of (situation) … In any (situation) that’s just something that shouldn’t happen.”

Will Clark be able to back his trash talk up once again in the Super Bowl?

We’ll get our answer once and for all come this Sunday.
