The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the New York Giants 25-23 on Monday Night Football. With the victory, the latter team dropped to 1-7 on the year while the former moved up to 6-2.
Bucs tight end Rob Gronkowski had an especially nice outing. He finished the day with four catches for 41 yards and a touchdown. He has now pulled down 17 receptions and three touchdowns in the last four games after getting off to a particularly slow start this season. Prior to this run, Gronkowski caught just nine passes over his first four games.
After Gronkowski’s big day against the Giants, his girlfriend Camille Kostek revealed what she told him to motivate him to perform at a high level.
“I like to amp rob up on the phone before games and today I told him if he scored I’ll stay his gf if he doesn’t he could lose my number. Guess it worked,” she admitted on Instagram.
Needless to say, the post immediately went viral. Much like they did with her Halloween costume, Kostek’s nearly 800,000 followers on Instagram absolutely ate the content up.

Kostek’s viral posts regarding Gronkowski notwithstanding, she has also enjoyed a lot of success in recent years independently of her NFL star better half. She was featured in Maxim’s Hot 100 list of Sexiest Women in the World in 2019, got included in Connecticut Magazine’s “40 under 40” list of influential people for 2018, and came out victorious in the original Sports Illustrated Swim Search in 2018.

Since then, Kostek has branched out into the acting world. She appeared in the 2018 comedy ‘I Feel Pretty’ starring Amy Schumer and in 2020’s ‘Free Guy’ with Ryan Reynolds.
Based on Gronkowski’s stock rising with the Buccaneers and Kostek’s fledgling acting career, it’s safe to assume that this probably isn’t the last we’ll hear from this power couple in 2020.
