Is Cam Newton heading to the LA Chargers?
That is the question on the minds of many now that his relationship with the Carolina Panthers has officially come to an end.
Recently, Bleacher Report NFL exert Kristopher Knox suggested that the Chargers might be a logical landing spot for Newton.
“The Los Angeles Chargers have an opening at quarterback after parting with Philip Rivers,” Knox wrote.
“Though Tyrod Taylor has shown that he can be a decent starting option, he isn’t a long-term answer or likely to push L.A. past the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West. Newton, if back to pre-injury form, could.”
Will Newton end up with the Chargers? Time will tell.
