Browns Trading Odell Beckham To Cowboys?

Are the Browns trading Odell Beckham to the Cowboys?

That is the question many are asking after Dallas went out and recruited Beckham’s mentor Adam Henry to be the team’s new wide receivers coach.

This week, Dallas revealed that it was moving on from Sanjay Lal and filling that vacancy with Henry.

The Cowboys’ wide receiving group is among the league’s most talented, but it underperformed at times in 2019.

With new head coach Mike McCarthy coming on board, it stood to reason that he would install someone of his own to oversee the receivers.

He reportedly chose Henry.

The 47-year-old former Saints player is widely respected around the league by many, including Beckham and Jarvis Landry.

As such, many are now wondering whether the Henry hiring is an opening salvo in an eventual move to acquire Beckham.

It is no secret that Beckham has been displeased with how his tenure as a member of the Browns has gone. Last year, he repeatedly asked rival teams to trade for him.

Although Cleveland and Beckham seemingly made up at the end of the season, there is still a lot of chatter that he would prefer to be elsewhere.

The Cowboys are no strangers to pulling off big moves for polarizing wide receivers, so this would not exactly be out of character for them.

Will Jerry Jones ultimately swing a deal for Beckham? Time will tell. But it is certainly a far more likely proposition today than it was this time last week.
