Brittany Mahomes Reveals Unfortunate Health Diagnosis

Brittany Mahomes is the wife of Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and one of the most recognizable spouses in all of sports and entertainment.

Fresh off her beau’s third Super Bowl victory, Brittany has been in the headlines nonstop over the last few months.

Between her hard partying ways, wild workout photos and interesting relationship with Taylor Swift, it has been one thing after another for Brittany.

This week, unfortunately, Brittany found herself going viral for something of a sad reason: an unfortunate health diagnosis.

Brittany took to social media to explain:

“Actually really struggling with my skin right now,” she wrote at first, “trying to figure out why it’s just breaking out all around my mouth like I’m allergic to something, but can not figure it out.”

Eventually, she seemingly figured it out. Brittany’s facial issues were being caused by perioral dermatitis.

“Perioral dermatitis is a skin disorder resembling acne or rosacea,” according to Mount Sinai.

“In most cases, it involves tiny red bumps that form on the lower half of the face in the folds of the nose and around the mouth. Perioral dermatitis is most common in young to middle age women. Frequently, no specific cause is found.”

Brittany received an outpouring of support following this most recent revelation.

Celebrities are, generally speaking, very guarded. But clearly Brittany felt the need to share this with her fans for public awareness.

Thus far, Patrick has yet to comment on his wife’s condition.

Will Brittany ultimately take followers along on the journey to deal with her perioral dermatitis? Time will tell.
