The Kansas City Chiefs made easy work of the Arizona Cardinals in their season opener on Sunday. A big reason why was the stellar play of the team’s quarterback, Patrick Mahomes.
Not only did the 26-year-old record five touchdowns and 360 yards on 30-of-39 passing, but he also amassed all of zero interceptions. It was a flawless effort.
Patrick wasn’t the only member of his family to have a big weekend, though. His longtime partner and new wife Brittany Mahomes also found a way to generate buzz.
Ahead of the Cardinals game, Brittany posed for a series of photos that immediately set the internet ablaze:
For pretty obvious reasons, Brittany’s choice of attire absolutely stole the show.
“My fav outfit yet,” one fan wrote.
“Game day fits give me [life],” another added.
“I love your outfit,” a third fan enthusiastically wrote.
Needless to say, Brittany and her choice of garb was an absolute hit.
This isn’t the first time in recent weeks Brittany has made headlines in this manner. Her epic birthday party photos left quite the impression, as did her memorable date night pictures, notable training camp fashion choice and now-viral message to the NFL.
While a lot of people like to believe that Brittany’s way of being and knack for finding herself in the news cycle is some sort of turn off for Patrick, it clearly isn’t. He obviously loves spending time with her, as evidenced by their wild Coachella photos and provocative vacation snaps.
One very particular video always gets pointed to as a sign that Brittany negatively impacts Patrick’s mental health, but it’s hard to put much stock into that.
Especially when he looks as good as he did on Sunday against the Cardinals.
This is shaping up to be a big year for the Mahomes family.

If Patrick can lead the Chiefs back to the top of the mountain and win another Super Bowl, he and Brittany will immediately become the biggest power couple in the NFL.
Should that fail to happen, Brittany will likely still find a way to keep their names in the headlines for the next few months.
