Brewers Trading Josh Hader To Yankees?
Are the Brewers trading Josh Hader to the Yankees?
New York has already pulled off one of the biggest moves of the offseason by signing Gerrit Cole to a record 9-year, $324 million deal.
One would think that would satisfy the Yankees’ pitching needs, but that is not the case.
Yankees are among teams to talk to Brewers about Josh Hader, as @Ken_Rosenthal reported. NYY does have the players to make it work. No sense from teams yet Milwaukee is motivated to move him. But they are talking.

According to Jon Heyman of the MLB Network, Milwaukee has been contracted by Yankees brass regarding Hader.
Apparently the Yankees are interested in making a deal for talented reliever.
On its face, a deal would definitely make sense for New York.
If you couple Hader with Aroldis Chapman, suddenly the Yankees have arguably the best one-two punch of bullpen lefties in the entire league.
Hader’s numbers speak for themselves. Last year he recorded 138 batters struck out in just over 75 innings.
He would instantly boost the quality of Yankees’ relief pitching.
Unfortunately there is no real reason for the Brewers to trade Hader away, so it is unclear how viable a deal really is at this juncture.
Could a trade ultimately be worked out? Of course. The Yankees are as good a organization as any in baseball at convincing other teams to make them better.
Will it happen, though? Time will tell.
