Jeremiyah Love is spending some of that rookie money. The Arizona Cardinals running back reportedly gifted his girlfriend a brand new $300,000 Lamborghini Urus.
The video, originally posted by his girlfriend Aliece on TikTok, shows her driving the Urus with a caption that read “Just wanted to say God is good.” The post has since been deleted but naturally made its way over to X, where it went viral within hours.
Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love just gave his girlfriend Aliece a brand new $300K Lamborghini Urus, according to TMZ Sports. A new Urus starts around $234,000 and can climb over $338,000 depending on trim, so the $300,000 figure is right in the sweet spot for the model.
Love can afford it. He signed a $53 million rookie contract earlier this year that included an eye-popping $35 million signing bonus. When you’re 21 years old with $35 million hitting your bank account, buying a Lamborghini for your significant other is basically walking-around money.
Here’s the fun part. Love actually preached about saving his NFL money after signing that first pro deal. He talked publicly about how his NIL money from Notre Dame could cover his living expenses so he wouldn’t have to touch his league salary. Then he turned around and dropped $300K on a Lamborghini for his girlfriend.
That’s not a criticism. That’s a 21-year-old with generational wealth doing exactly what a 21-year-old with generational wealth does. If we’re being honest, most NFL rookies burn through way more than $300K on random purchases in the first few months.
The bigger question, and the one Cardinals fans actually care about, is whether Love produces on the field.
The former Notre Dame running back was electric in college. Over his final two seasons with the Fighting Irish, Love rushed for 2,497 yards and 35 touchdowns across 28 games. He runs with real burst, has the vision to hit the right holes, and plays with a physicality that translates well to the pro game.
Arizona drafted him to be a foundational piece for a rebuilding offense. James Conner has been the workhorse in the desert for years, but the Cardinals wanted a younger, faster complement, someone who could eventually take over the lead role. Love fits that need on paper.
Trey McBride is developing into an elite tight end. The offensive line has been getting slowly rebuilt. Marvin Harrison Jr. is entering his third year and should take another step. Add Love to that mix and you’ve got a real offensive core coming together in Arizona.
The Lamborghini story is going to be a fun training camp storyline for a week or two. Then it will fade, and everything comes back to what Love does when the pads come on for real.
If he rushes for 1,000 yards as a rookie, nobody remembers the Lamborghini. If he flops, this becomes the headline that follows him around. That’s how NFL fame works.
Love has the talent to justify all of it. Cardinals fans just want to see the college version of Jeremiyah Love show up on Sundays.
