Are the Bengals accepting trade offers for Joe Burrow?

Burrow, a Heisman winning LSU quarterback, is widely regarded as the best player available in the 2020 Draft.

As such, any trade that Cincinnati does involving its top pick will essentially be trading away Burrow.

Despite multiple reports last week that the organization would do no such thing, the team’s director of player personnel came out on Tuesday and said an official decision had not been made.

Speaking to the media this week, Duke Tobin said all options were still on the table. He added that any suggestion that the Bengals would not trade away Burrow was “news to me.”

“I don’t know that any decision has been made for what we’re going to do in April,” he said.

“We’re early in the process. We certainly haven’t had any meetings to determine that at this point. Those will be meetings we’ll have as we go through the process.”

Tobin insists that the franchise is open to anything at this stage. No options have been ruled out.

“Right now, I would be open to leaving everything on the table because we haven’t decided yet,” he continued.

“(We’re) figuring out how to best use the capital we’ve ‘earned.’”

If the Bengals are interested in trading away their selection, the Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Chargers are said to be very interested in moving up.

This past season Cincinnati finished 2-14 – the worst record in the NFL. For their troubles, the Bengals were rewarded with the No. 1 overall pick.
