Allen Iverson Names Top 5 Modern Day NBA Killers

Allen Iverson is widely regarded as one of the greatest NBA players of all time.

Because of that and given the gravity of what he was able to accomplish despite his small stature, he will forever go down as a beloved fan favorite.

As such, it should come as no surprise that his praise carries a lot of weight in the minds of present day hoops fans.

This week Iverson sat down with Taylor Rooks of Bleacher Report to offer his take on a variety of topics. At one point, she asked him about his infamous, “I’m not a point guard, I’m a killer” quote. She then pressed him to name his top five killers in the league today.

“Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, James Harden… I know a lot of killers. Bradley Beal is a killer. Oh… Dame. Certified. Dame’s just… he’s a monster with it,” Iverson said.

“Steph is just bad as hell. But Dame just a whole rude motherf*cker. He just rude. He just disrespectful. He just do anything… I mean past half court he just let it fly. Buzzer-beaters at the hash. You know what I mean? No fair. He’s not just a killer, he’s a serial killer.”

In the same interview, Iverson also offered some very interesting thoughts on Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young and the flaws in his game.

Iverson has never been one to hold back on offering his real opinions. Whether he is settling the LeBron vs. MJ debate once and for all or revealing the two players who gave him the most problems in his career – he generally keeps it pretty real.

So if he is heaping this sort of praise on Lillard, Durant and Co. – you know it’s for real.
