Alex Rodriguez’s Honest Reaction To Jennifer Lopez Marrying Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez married Ben Affleck in Las Vegas this weekend, and understandably many were curious about how Alex Rodriguez felt.

Lopez and Rodriguez were together for a fairly significant amount of time. Eventually they broke off their engagement and split up, under fairly salacious circumstances, and Lopez reunited with her former flame.

Now that Lopez and Affleck have officially tied the knot, the number one question on everyone’s mind has been: is Rodriguez upset?

An answer emerged this week.

“[Rodriguez is] happy for her and happy that she’s with the person she’s meant to be with,” a source told Us Weekly. “He’s in a new relationship now and is happy as well. He’s traveling all over and living his best life. He’s really focused on family, his career and what he’s got going on.”

Rodriguez’s reaction is unsurprising. Just this past week he appeared on an episode of “The Martha Stewart Podcast” and had nothing but nice things to say about Lopez.

“We had a great time,” he said. “More importantly, we always put the kids front and center in everything we do.

“Here’s what I will tell you about Jennifer and I was telling some of my colleagues here the other day: She’s the most talented human being I’ve ever been around, [the] hardest worker. And I think she is the greatest performer, live performer, in the world today that’s alive.”

Much like Lopez, Rodriguez has also moved on from the breakup. His provocative recent vacation photos with new girlfriend Kathryne Padgett have left quite the impression. They have also turned her into a mini celebrity.

Between her spicy workout video where she wasn’t wearing any clothes and her remarkable poolside photos, Padgett is becoming a viral star in her own right.

Relationships come and go. That’s just the nature of the beast. But it’s great that Rodriguez and Lopez have so much mutual respect for each other that they can move on in a functioning and civilized way.

Will Rodriguez follow in Lopez’s example and tie the knot with Padgett at some point in the foreseeable future?

Time will tell.
